Welcome to the dryfella's blog.

We hope this blog will provide a platform to increase the flow of information around the subject of men's bladder leakage (MBL) sometimes known as light bladder leakage or(LBL).

As many of you will know, we have set up an online store to supply products for this very inconvenient men's problem - view at www.dryfella.co.nz.  Our site only stocks men's products and we have so far sourced 50 variations.
If we can increase the awareness of SOLUTIONS for managing men's bladder leakage, we will consider this is worth the effort.  We make no claims about TREATMENT for LBL which men mostly encounter as they age. However, treatments are available, and men who begin to experience bladder leakage should visit their GP to ensure a medical intervention is acted upon as soon as possible. Of course, men who have a medical issue which affects the bladder or urinary system such as prostate surgery will be introduced to these products post-op. However, finding the one that suits you best can be difficult. At dryfella, we have collated four StarterPacks so ranges of products can be tried in the privacy of your own home. [In the case of pending surgery, its a good idea to get this sorted in advance.]

A major problem with managing bladder leakage is the general reluctance of men to sort out personal health issues.  Men tend to think they are bullet proof and going to a doctor for many is seen as a sign of weakness. On the contrary, men should man-up and take charge of what can become a very embarrassing personal health issue when there is no need for it to be so.

The embarrassment is mostly experienced by 'others' who have to cope with the 'look and smell' of the problem as it's ignored. The ignoring is usually by a husband; partner or father who often doesn't even know the issue is as bad as it is. Their sense of smell may have altered due to aging and general lack of care of clothes doesn't highlight what's going on. But a closer look shows wetness on trousers and shorts and the smell builds up over time to be quite objectionable. There's no need to let it get that bad!

So that's an introduction to dryfellas, we'll share more thoughts and ideas as we develop what for us is a completely new experience.  eCommerce is new for us.  Incontinence, which is the technical name for the general subject, is completely new for us. A blog is a new experience.  And we know there are a lot more new experiences we'll have along the way, which we will endeavour to share with you on this blog. We hope you stay for the ride. Feedback welcome to malcolm@mdabusiness.co.nz

Ends. The dryfellas!
